Chris co-founded the CTE Center at Boston University School of Medicine in 2008 and now serves as the Outreach, Recruitment, Education, and Public Policy Leader. The CTE Center (formerly called the Center for the Study of Traumatic of Encephalopathy) has become the world’s leading research center for the study of the long-term effects of concussions.

The crown jewel of the CTE Center is the VA-BU-SLI Brain Bank, the world’s largest CTE tissue repository housing the brains of over 260 deceased athletes and military veterans, over 160 of which have been diagnosed with CTE.
